BOT BAZAAR
YEAR 2016
Bot Bazaar is a solo animated short completed for a university project, I worked with my supervisor Ian Stephenson and was responsible for all production aspects. It's a story about a worker robot in a robot factory. The short is meant to provoke questions about automation and agency, who takes care of the caretaker?
This project allowed me to explore character design, rigging, and animation techniques. The visual style was inspired by a mix of minimalist design and industrial aesthetics, creating a clean but emotionally resonant environment for the story to unfold.
Watch the Animated Short
This project helped me develop a deeper understanding of the full animation production pipeline, from concept to final rendering. Working solo on all aspects challenged me to optimize my workflow and make thoughtful artistic decisions throughout the process.
